Fun, education and exercise all up for grabs at Beaver Valley’s one-stop registration night

Beaver Valley Parks and Recreation is also organizing a one-stop registration night.

Come to the Fruitvale Hall on Thursday, Sept. 1 between 5:30 and 7p.m. to register for Beaver Valley Minor Hockey, BV Skating Club, BV Lanes Bowling, BV Library Children’s programs, West Kootenay BMX Racing Club, Salmo Ski Racers and all the BV Recreation programs (Food Safe, Home Alone, Babysitting Course, Yoga, Chito-Ryu Karate (Youth & Adult), Dance, Tiny Tot skating lessons, Zumba, Zumbatomic, STAB class (Sweat, Turn and Burn), Line dance, Tai Chi, Ladies Beginner Belly Dance, Kids First Soccer, Toddler Free Time, Hot Shots Hockey and more).

Remember to bring your cheque book, All Recreation programs can also be paid for over the phone with a Visa or Mastercard.

The Beaver Valley Summer Parks Program wrapped up on Aug. 12 with a pizza party field trip to Gyro Park.

The free program for ages 6-12 was instructed by Emma Pitman, Sierra Calvin and Brook Murdoch. Children of the Beaver Valley enjoyed fun games and crafts at Haines Park in Fruitvale and the Montrose Water Park.

Friday field trips included the Warfield Pool, Zuckerberg Island, Creston Wildlife Centre, Champion Lakes, Harding Heights Ranch and Gyro Park.
