Kristin Landra, Holly Jenkin, Aidan Szombathy and Bridget Kivell from the Smokette’s hockey team presented the Special Olympics bocce team with a cheque for $500 from its Rossland fundraising tournament.
While the funds can be used for any occasion, the Special OlympicsBC-Trail will be hosting the regional bocce championship on June 8 and are looking for volunteers.
