Special Olympics BC-Trail volunteer Chris Kuchar and athlete Jake Miller welcomed the Beaver Valley Nitehawks, Trail RCMP and about 20 other residents who participated in the annual fundraiser, water-balloon fight, and Polar Plunge into the Columbia River on Saturday at Gyro Park.
The Kiwanis Trail also donated $500 to the SOBC-Trail event.
