Trail market raises $5,700+ for wildfire relief

A BC Wildfire Relief fundraiser at Trail’s incrEDIBLE Farmer’s Market on Saturday brought in a grand total of $5,719 for the Canadian Red Cross relief efforts. Local businesses and market vendors contributed more than $1,400 in prizes for a grand draw, which in the event’s four-hour time span, raised $1,349. Red Cross volunteers set up an information tent, and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., and issued receipts (for $20 or more), which amounted to $4,370.
