Contractors from Western Safety Surfacing Inc. were hard at work on the new playground at Gyro Park in Trail on Sunday.
The work totalling over $370,000 is expected to be completed and the resurfaced playground opened next month.
The City of Trail also received $25,000 in funding from Columbia Basin Trust.
