Youth exhibit kicks off Kootenay Gallery's re-opening

After a two-month closure related to water damage and the need for repairs and renovations, the Kootenay Gallery is re-opening and is ready to launch its 2025 exhibition season.

The ever-popular annual Young Visions exhibit will open on April 17 and run through May 31.

The exhibit celebrates the creative skills and talents of young people ages 13 to 18 in School District 20. Students from Stanley Humphries Secondary School in Castlegar, and Kootenay Columbia Learning Centre will participate in this year's show.

The gallery and exhibit will open with a reception on Thursday, April 17 from 5 to 7 pm. All are welcome to attend.
