Bus tours, trail hike and ball game all part of Montrose Day festivities

The annual Montrose Day will take place this coming weekend at various locations throughout the village.

Things kick off Saturday at 8 a.m. with a challenge to hike the Antenna Trail in order to win a free breakfast, courtesy of Kootenay Savings, which will be served until 10:30 a.m.

Four bus tours of the dam in the village will run throughout the day starting at 10 a.m. Tickets are free from the village office but buses can only accommodate 36 people at a time.

The ever popular parade beings at 11 a.m., followed by the commemoration of the ballpark at noon.

Music in the Park will take place throughout the afternoon and a climbing wall and kids bouncy house will be onsite as well.  The steak dinner begins at 4 p.m. for a cost of $12 and will take place in the park.

For more information contact the village office.
