The Crown Point’s newest entertainment venture wraps up Thursday night.
Singing With the Stars has been in the works for over a month, where local talent gave it their best each each week.
Thursday’s finale, beginning at 9 p.m., will see winners from previous weeks come back to participate in the final showdown, with $300 in prizes up for grabs.
Performers will be judged on how well they sang, how well they know their song, stage performance and generating audience participation, said Joe Ringrose, karaoke DJ at the Crown.
“Each week it seemed to get progressively better, last week it was pretty close,” he said. “These are just normal working folks — no professionals, no ringers, just people who like to get up and have fun.”
