• Thursday, Gyro Park at 7 p.m. Kootenay Savings Music in the Park presents Born in Cities. A combination of guitar, piano, accordian and powerful vocals. Bring a lawn chair, admission by donation. Call 364-3003 for info.

• Saturday, Fruitvale Memorial Hall, two shows,  2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Children’s Theatre presents Beauty You and the Country Beast, featuring local children.
