Early Saturday morning, (Oct. 26), a frontline officer from the Trail and Greater District RCMP attended to a call from a vigilant citizen who had spotted a bulldozer reported stolen from a Fruitvale property the previous Friday.
Thanks to the tip, Trail RCMP were able to assist the owner in successfully recovering the vehicle, valued between $10,000 and $15,000.
“We would like to thank the member of the public who reported the location of the stolen bulldozer to the police,” says Sgt. Mike Wicentowich. “The owner was very happy to have it returned to him in good condition.”
