The City of Trail announced Tuesday the hiring of Jared Miner to the newly created position of General Manager of Municipal Services.
According to the city, Miner “will advance priority areas including: utility infrastructure, climate change, sustainable development, community resilience, and livability; and cultivating an inclusive and respectful work environment.”
Miner brings more than 15 years of leadership, engineering, and project management experience, which the city says makes him well-prepared to lead its teams and initiatives.
He has led cross-functional teams on water sustainability and environmental remediation projects, ensuring alignment with both business goals and long-term sustainability.
“I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to bring my leadership, technical expertise and collaborative approach to the City of Trail,” Miner stated in the release.
“I look forward to leading the city’s municipal services efforts, while promoting both efficiency and high-quality delivery.”
Mayor Colleen Jones said Miner’s experience and background align with the city’s strategic and official community plans.
“As we continue to build our strong and diverse team at the City of Trail, I’m pleased to welcome Jared Miner to this important leadership role,” Jones said.
“He’s a great fit for our team and for the future we’re shaping together.”
