Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH) Health Foundation is extending a heartfelt thank you to FortisBC for their generous $2,000 donation, aimed at brightening the hospital experience for young patients.
The donation, presented to Lisa Pasin, executive director of the KBRH Health Foundation, by the Fortis BC team, will go toward purchasing teddy bears for children visiting various hospital departments, including the Emergency Department, Pediatric Cardiology Clinic, Cast Clinic, Pediatrics/Maternity Department, and the Day Care/Surgical Unit.
“These comforting bears bring smiles and ease to our young patients during what can be a challenging time,” the foundation expressed.
