I am writing to as we are very disturbed to hear that Interior Health Authority is closing the Trail Lab on the heels of closing the Beaver Valley Clinic lab.
We have a hard time with the NDP government supporting an American company over local Canadian workers, especially in light of the trade war etc. with the U.S.
The hours of the Life Lab are not conducive to the working population and we also have to get another portal to look at our results, which causes seniors distress to negotiate yet another thing on the computer.
How long before this company closes up shop and we are left with nothing?
Please encourage Interior Health to reconsider this loss to the community and keep it Canadian.
