As citizens of Rossland for many, many years, my husband and I are deeply disappointed with our city council for deciding such a death decision for the Gold Fever Follies in an in-camera meeting.
You were elected in a democratic fashion and yet this high handed and undemocratic process of decision making makes you look like a bunch of unrepresentative dictators.
You chose to do this precisely because you were afraid of how this would be viewed by the community at large.
City hall should be able to substantiate their decision making in front of any group of concerned citizens.
Shame on you for your cowardice.
