This 1948 Sno-Sho photo captures three men mid-tumble during a race — a snowy pile-up that’s all too familiar for our daredevil sledders.
Did you know that before highways connected Rossland to Trail, people tobogganed down the mountain for fun and transportation?
They’d ride the train back to Rossland afterward.
