The Trail Times is spreading the word — Old Saint Nick is making a grand entrance in downtown Trail this Friday night (Dec. 13) as the star of the annual Santa Claus Parade.
“This cherished tradition will light up the streets of downtown Trail,” organizers shared.
"Join Santa and his jolly entourage for festive fun as they fill the town with holiday cheer.
"Bring your family and friends to experience the magic of this community celebration.”
The parade kicks off at 5:30 p.m. at the Riverfront Centre, travelling down Helena Street, turning right onto Cedar Avenue, and then left onto Farwell Street.
The procession will wrap up on Bay Avenue before circling back to the Riverfront Centre.
After the parade, stick around for a festive tree-lighting ceremony at the Riverfront Centre.
Warm up with complimentary hot chocolate and soak in the holiday spirit.
To make the evening stress-free, free parking will be available downtown starting at 3 p.m., so visitors can enjoy the festivities without worrying about parking fees.
“Come make memories with your community this holiday season,” the organizers encouraged.
