The VISAC Gallery has announced its inaugural VISAC Member’s Salon: Show and Sale, celebrating the incredible talent of local visual artists.
“We are inspired by the skill and diversity of artists who call the West Kootenay region home and are excited to share their work with the public, especially those who might not typically have access to art,” say the members.
As a community-focused gallery, VISAC is dedicated to supporting and showcasing both emerging and established artists in the West Kootenay.
“We nurture new talent, help established artists gain greater recognition, and offer viewers a fresh way to experience art,” the gallery shares.
“At the heart of this exhibition are the artists within our community.”
VISAC members are encouraged to apply for the exhibition by Sept. 15.
Both emerging and experienced artists are welcome. Successful applicants will be notified by Sept. 17.

The community is invited to the exhibition opening on Sept. 26, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
All are welcome to attend and show their support for the artists.
The exhibition will run until Nov. 7.
