Update Wednesday, Jan. 22, 12:30 p.m.

Trail RCMP has informed the Trail Times that they believe 19-year-old Searra Corke, who is currently missing, may be traveling with her brother, and possibly others, in a rental car.

"We hope to make contact as soon as possible and hope Searra reaches out to us," said Sgt. Mike Wicentowich.

A social media post circulating online appears to reference the situation. However, Wicentowich noted that investigators have been unable to verify the post's claims, and the individual behind it has not contacted police to share information.

"If anyone has information ... they can contact us to speak to the main investigator," he added.

Trail and Greater District RCMP are seeking assistance in locating 19-year-old Searra Corke, whose extended family reported her missing on Sunday, Jan. 19.
