After last year’s success, the Seniors Valentine’s Dance is back, promising an afternoon of music, movement, and social fun.
The dance will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Trail Memorial Centre gym.
For just $6, attendees can enjoy live music from Brian Plamondon, performing pop and country hits from the '50s, '60s, and '70s.
Complimentary tea, coffee, and light snacks will also be available, making it a perfect opportunity for seniors to celebrate Valentine's Day with friends.
Advance registration is required by Monday, Feb. 10.
No drop-ins will be accepted.
Participants can register by calling Trail Parks and Recreation at 250-364-0888, visiting the aquatic centre main desk in-person, or signing up online at trailrecreation.ca.
Beyond the fun, dancing promotes social connection, helping to strengthen friendships and reduce feelings of loneliness.
Whether you love to dance or just want to tap your toes to classic tunes, the Seniors Valentine’s Dance is a great way to stay active, socialize, and enjoy an afternoon of live music.
