My $986 specialized street bike was a beautiful thing.
I don’t have a car so this thing was going to last me a decade.
But it is gone, along with some of my compassion for the “slick willies” of our area who hit me up for cash.
So crime pays but also plays. At least the person who buys my trusty black steed for a “steal.”
