Bandmaster Joseph Fuoco (left) and musician Terry Moon (right) presented the City of Trail (Mayor Mike Martin, middle) with a resounding thank you from the Trail Maple Leaf Band during Monday night council. The band celebrated its 100th anniversary with a reunion weekend in July that included a banquet with dignitaries such as Consul General of Italy, Massimiliano Iacchini, making his first visit to Trail from Vancouver, as well as the return of past members now living across the country. Saturday night, all the musicians played in a mass concert that touched the heart strings of many.
