A 20-year-old Trail resident has plead guilty to robbery in relation to an incident that took place at the 7-Eleven on Victoria Street this month.

No one was in the store when two culprits, wearing facial coverings, demanded about $100 from the clerk Aug. 7 at 3 a.m.

Blade Guindon appeared in Rossland court Thursday, after he was picked up for robbing the convenience store with a knife in hand but his accomplice is still at large.

The second suspect has been described as approximately five-foot-eight with a medium built. He was wearing a black sweatshirt at the time of the robbery.

“We have been turning over a lot of rocks but haven’t found the second suspect – yet,” explained Trail RCMP Sgt. Rob Hawton Monday.

Guindon will appear in Rossland court Oct. 6 for a pre-sentence report. A charge of wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence is pending.
