The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a woman who died after a collision in East Trail last week.
Maria Sodini, 79, was the front seat passenger in a vehicle that collided with a pickup truck at the corner of Second Avenue and Bailey Street at about 6 p.m. Tuesday. She was rushed to the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries the following day.
The BC Coroners Service and West Kootenay Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
