The first happened around noon on Nov. 9 at a gas station the 300-block of the Trans-Canada Hwy., where a 25-year-old woman was found slumped behind the wheel and unresponsive. The Esquimalt resident was taken to hospital.

Inside the vehicle police found “a small quantity of a powdery substance, believed to be a drug,” and $14,000 in cash.

The second incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Nov. 10 in the 3400-block of Linwood Ave. when an officer conducting a traffic stop noted that the driver appeared nervous.

A canine unit sniffed the exterior of the vehicle and located about 21 grams of what police believe to be cocaine. As well, police found $10,000 in cash in the vehicle.
