Evacuation Alert for parts of Grand Forks and Christina Lake

This alert is in response to the Stickpin fire in Washington.

Map for evacuation alert area for Grand Forks

An evacuation Alert has been issued for areas of Electoral Area D south of the Kettle River and south of the City of Grand Forks. It does the Industrial/Ruckle area.

Ponderosa and Cascade areas of Electoral Area C are also under Evacuation Alert. This is an Evacuation Alert, not an Evacuation Order, no residents are directed to evacuate at this time.

This alert is in response to the Stickpin fire in Washington.

This Evacuation Alert is being issued due to an upcoming weather event (strong winds) expected in the next few days. The area under Evacuation Alert could be impacted by ember showers from fires in Washington state. If you see a spot fire started from embers, call 9-1-1.

Evacuation Alert notices will be hand delivered to residences in the impacted area. Note that only emergency services personnel will be delivering Evacuation Alert notices.
