Happy Mother’s Day

Justine and Michelle Holm are celebrating their first Mother’s Day on Sunday.

This is a week of “firsts” for nine-month old Justine Holm and her mom Michelle Holm. This is Justine’s first Silver City Days, and it was her first time at the Spokane Street Food Fair on Thursday. After her first Trail Firefighters Parade on Saturday, Justine will see her first circus the following day when Dr. Von Houligan’s Carnivale of Calamities takes centre stage for Family Fun Day at Gyro Park (that’s after mom Michelle performs with the Trail Maple Leaf Band). Most importantly, however, the two will also be celebrating their first Mother’s Day on Sunday. (Sheri Regnier photo)
