Trail and Fruitvale Kootenay Savings Credit Union (KSCU) staff donated to Stuff the Bus on Friday.

This two-day annual BC Transit event, held locally by Next Gen Transit (formerly Trail Transit) in the parking lot of Trail Ferraro Foods, raises money and takes in donations for the local food bank.

The 10th Annual Stuff the Bus took place at Ferraro Foods on Nov. 17 and Nov. 18.

A BC Transit bus was parked in the Farwell Street lot from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., as volunteers collected non-perishable food items and other donations for the Salvation Army Food Bank.

Last year’s Stuff the Bus brought in 4,200 pounds of non-perishable food and winter coats, as well as $7,600 in cash donations.
