Gord DeRosa has been a Trail councillor for 26 years and was honoured for his long standing service at a conference of B.C. municipalities in September. Acting Mayor Sean Mackinlay presented the award to DeRosa during council Tuesday night. Coun. DeRosa acknowledged the support of his family and said he was humbled and honoured to have the trust and faith of citizens that allows him to make decisions on their behalf.
