Trail RCMP are once again seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect involved in robbing an 84-year-old Warfield resident.

The senior was pushed to the ground and had her purse stolen while visiting Trail’s Canada Post Christmas Eve last year at about 4:30 p.m.

“The elderly female sustained minor injuries as a result of being shoved to the ground,” said Trail RCMP Sgt. Rob Hawton.

The suspect is described as a man in his 20s, approximately five-foot-10, with a slim clean-shaven face and brown hair down to his neck. He was wearing dark coloured pants and a dark blue “puffy” winter jacket.

An RCMP sketch artist completed a composite sketch for the public’s assistance in identifying him.

Should anyone have information with regards to this crime or think they may know the identity of this man they should contact the Trail and Greater District RCMP Detachment at 364-2566.
