A joy ride that ended in a rolled vehicle resulted in two youth testing their invisible force this past weekend.
Trail RCMP were called to a single-vehicle collision Saturday on Highway 22 near Birchbank Station Road, where they discovered a rolled vehicle that was stolen from Sunningdale earlier that night.
With no one in sight, a police officer strolled down the street in search for suspects on foot and came across two teens lying down in the ditch.
The teens – 15 and 17 years old – were picked up and are now facing charges of theft of a vehicle.
Their identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
