Upgrade to arena system

The City of Trail will hire a familiar group to take on the task of upgrading its refrigeration capacity at the Trail Memorial Centre.

Norlock Refrigeration, the company, which currently services the existing system, submitted the lowest of three bids for the contract for the capital project upgrading the ammonia receiving equipment at the Memorial Centre.

The city announcement noted Kelowna-based Norlock had, “specific knowledge of our plant above and beyond (the) competitors,” which are among the most reputable service contractors in B.C.

The $30,846 project will be undertaken this summer.
