It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Albert Debler April 13, 2011 at the age of 88.
Albert enjoyed golfing and travelling after retirement from Cominco in 1983. He moved to Summerland after his wife’s death in 2008 to be closer to family until his death.
He is sadly predeceased by his wife Gertie and brothers Tony, Gus, Chris and Fred.
He will be lovingly remembered by his 2 children Darlene (Greg) of Summerland BC, and Brenda of Red Deer Alberta as well as 4 grandchildren Heather (Brendan) of Edmonton, AB, Kimberly (Eric) of Red Deer, AB, Bradley (Lindsay) of Red Deer, AB, Alanna of Penticton, BC, and sisters Dena, Elsie, Edna and Anne.
A graveside service will be held on May 20, 2011 at 1:30pm at Fruitvale Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Abresh officiating.
Memorial tributes may be made to BC Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of one’s choice.
