We are sad to announce the passing of Al after a lengthy battle with cancer. Al passed away peacefully at his residence in Keremeos, BC with his family by his side.
Al was predeceased by his parents. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ann, and his children Chris (Lisa) Trozzo, Gina (Kevin) Godley, brother Stan (Mary Lynn) Trozzo, 5 grandchildren and extended family.
Al was born and grew up in Trail and in his youth played ball and hockey where he made many lasting relationships.
Al enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting, but his passion was fishing. He pulled many 20 pounders out of Kootenay Lake. He also enjoyed many trips to Vancouver Island Salmon fishing. One of Al's biggest thrills was catching a Blue Marline while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas.
Al and Ann lived in Keremeos for over 20 years. They loved to dance and socialize and made many friends from as far as The Prairies. They also enjoyed travelling and cruising, visiting Australia, and Europe.
The family will be having a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society.
