1935-2014
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Allan after his courageous battle with cancer. Allan was born Dec 9, 1935, and spent his adult life in Fruitvale.
Allan was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He spent countless hours at the Fruitvale rink cheering on his beloved grandchildren. Allan was predeceased by his parents Rose and Albert, brother Don, sister Alice (Portman). He is survived by his loving wife Margaret Deadmarsh of Fruitvale, son Bryan and daughter-in-law Denise, cherished grandchildren Cody, Riley, and Serena Deadmarsh of Fruitvale, sister Doris (Norris) Bagg of Montrose and step-family Stewart and Sheri Ford (Annika and Mitchell) of Trail, Leslie and Greg Comis of Lacombe, AB and Glenn Ford if Edmonton, AB, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff of the Trail hospital for their care and kindness.
A memorial of Allan's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #11 in Trail on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 11:00 am with Reverend Ken Siemens officiating.
