It is with great sorrow that we announce that Alma McBlain passed away peacefully on April 26, 2020 in Trail with her family by her side. She
was born on November 17, 1924, in Speers, SK.
Alma, or "GG" as her family lovingly called her, was full of kindness, strength, and compassion - a living example of the many values that made her friends and family proud. She loved unconditionally, never had idle hands, volunteered and was always up for an adventure. Her legacy will live on in all who knew her.

Alma is predeceased by her parents, John and Ethel Spence, her beloved husband, Gordon of 71 years, her two brothers, Bob and Cliff, her sister in law Betty, Gordon's four brothers and his sister Ethel, brother in law Edgar, her much loved daughter in law, Barb and grandson in law, Gino.
She is survived by her children Malcolm, Don (Brenda), Brenda (Dave), her grandchildren: Dave (Sharleen), Sherry, Cory (Christine), Becky (Chris), Robbie (Kenny), Jody (Delaney), Michele (Kevin), Jeff (Julia), 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren. Alma also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and held a special place in her heart for her niece Bonnie.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at the Beaver Valley Clinic, the Bridges Program at CVL, the staff of Mountainside Village and the nurses and care aids who provided kind and compassionate home support.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Alma's memory to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #11 at 2141 Columbia Avenue, Trail BC V1R 1K8.
