Lester: (Richtsfeld) Aloisia of Trail passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Columbia View Lodge on October 9, 2011. Aloisia was born January 26, 1930 in Grein, Austria.
Aloisia started her career in Linz Austria as a professional seamstress later coming to Canada in 1953 beginning her life in Canada, working at Mater Misericordiae hospital in Rossland.
She raised her family in Rossland and also Aloisia will be forever remembered of her Mural on the IOA building on Washington Street.
She is survived by her sons, Ron (Violet) and Gordie Richtsfeld and daughter Audrey (Graham) Milne, grandchildren; Kyle, Jodie,James, Evan and Tessa and sister Ingrid in Austria. Predeceased by her husband Glad Lester and daughter-in-law Donna Cargnelli.
Aloisia loved her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking and sewing. She will always be the wind under our wings.

Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 11: 00 from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church with Father Matthieu Gombo Yange OfmCap celebrant. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services is entrusted with the arrangements.
