It is with immense regret and sadness that we, the family and spouse, Leroy announce the passing of our much loved Mom, Anita. Mom passed away at Poplar Ridge Pavillion surrounded by her immediate family.
Mom will be mourned and remembered by all for her huge heart, generosity, kindness, and love she shared. Her smile, humour and spirit brightened the lives of all who knew her. Anita (Mom) will be greatly missed, much remembered and forever remain in our hearts as happy memories of her will keep her alive to us all. A great, bright light has gone out and she has left the world void of the much love, joy and happiness she brought to it.
Anita leaves behind her spouse, Leroy, her children Cynthia, Glen and Teresa (Troy), her stepson Chris, 10 grandchildren, 2 great-granddaughters, her brother Larry, her sister Mira and many other family members who thought the world of her.
The family would like to give much heartfelt thanks to the many wonderful staff at Poplar Ridge, who through knowing and caring for her, became additional family members.
A per Mom's request, there will be no service at this time. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Servicesâ„¢ has been entrusted with arrangements.
Mom's wish was that you all hug the ones you love daily.
