FRASER, Anna - March 9, 1926 – July 18, 2011.

Anna was born in Halfway Cambuslang, Glasgow, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1955, residing in Ontario before moving to Trail in 1972. Anna worked at the Trail Library for several years before her retirement in 1991.

Anna will be dearly missed by her daughter Shona Hardwick (Fraser), son-in-law Martin and her beloved grandchildren Olivia, Meg, Ruby and Grace.

Anna has always expressed her appreciation of the excellent and compassionate care she has received from Dr. Benzer, clinic staff and the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital staff. Anna’s family has been deeply touched by the devotion, care and love shown not only by her closest friends but by the Trail community. There are no words to describe what this has meant to them during this very difficult time.

She always left people with a smile, laugh and often a joke. So to honour her memory, “Pay it forward” and leave others with a smile or chuckle.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital Health Foundation at 1200 Hospital Bench, Trail, BC V1R 4M1 or online at www.kbrhhealthfoundation.ca
