Anna Maria (Annetta) Iachetta (nee Cuzzetto) of Trail, passed away unexpectedly on June 29, 2013 at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital with Denis and Tracy by her side.
Annetta was born in Grimaldi, Province Cosenza, Italy on May 9, 1924. She will be remembered by her family for her gardening, crocheting, knitting and of course her cooking. She also enjoyed many summers with her family at Christina Lake.
She is predeceased by her husband Francesco (Frank) and her son Octavio, and her siblings. Annetta is lovingly remembered by her sons Emilio (Margaret), Mario (Vickie), and Denis (Tracy) and Boo-Boo; her 6 grandchildren David, Michael, Mark (Kelly), Brent (Celina), Dionne (Jake), Randi (Steve) as well as 6 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church; 315 Rossland Avenue, Trail on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 10:00 am with Father Jim McHugh, Celebrant. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in Annetta’s name may be made to the renovations at Holy Trinity Church at 2012 3rd Avenue, Trail, BC V1R 1R7. Please make donations payable to Holy Trinity Parish.
