Ansbro: Anthony (Tony) of Genelle passed away suddenly at Columbia View Lodge on October 18, 2010 after complications arising from his courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born August 12, 1941 in Manchester, England.
Tony and his wife moved to the Kootenays 18 years ago, settling in Genelle, He worked at KBRH for 11 years as Director of Plant Operations.
Tony is survived by Lynne, his loving wife of 22 years; his children Gerard, Bernardine (Nick), Jane, and Mark, along with step-children Carrie (Ken) and Jeff (Janelle), 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson, all of whom he lovingly adored.
An open house will be held in Tony’s honour at 702 – 16th Avenue in Genelle, on Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Al Grywacheski of Personal Alternative Funeral Services “Carberry’s Chapel” is entrusted with arrangements.
