Audrey of Fruitvale, passed away peacefully at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital on April 18, 2017. She was born in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba on February 27, 1929.

Audrey was a long-time member of the Pythian Sisters. She enjoyed her trips to the casino, camping with family, volunteering for different organizations, especially for the thrift shop and the library at Mountain Side Village where she was a resident. Her greatest enjoyment was her family.

She is survived by her sons Allan (Sharon) and David, daughter Kathryn (John); five grandsons; Nigel (Krista), Graham (Angela), Ferris (Martie), Evan (Breanne) and Michael, great-grandchildren; Mitch, Nicole, Rowan, Ellia, Callee, Lacee, Ruby and Fox. She is also survived by her sister Donna Jupp and favourite brother-in-law Rich and many nieces and nephews. Audrey is predeceased by her husband Jim in 2008.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Audrey at the Beaver Valley Curling Rink at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with the arrangements.
