Was born in Trail on October 7th, 1931 and passed away peacefully with family by her side on August 31, 2017 at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital.
She is predeceased by her sisters Doris and Amy and her grandson Jeremy.
Barb is survived by her husband of 63 years, Francis and her children Stephen (Sharlon) and Melanie (Geoff) and her granddaughter Carla (Kevin) and great grandson Lucas.
Barb loved to travel, knit, camp, fish and golf. Family time and visiting with friends was her true source of joy. She will be greatly missed by her dearly loved dogs, Luke and Leah.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 11:00am at St. John’s Anglican Church in Fruitvale, BC. Gwen Ziprick of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
