It is with sad hearts we announce the sudden death of Brian Gabana.
He is survived by his brother Steven (Sharon), and their children, Marcus and Gus, and Evelyn, as well as the extended Gabana family. He was predeceased by his mother Dorothy, his father Norman, and his sisters Karen and Lynn.
Brian was a devoted fan of the Trail Smoke Eaters and rarely missed a home game. The Canucks were his favourite NHL team and he was proud of all the memorabilia he owned. Brian had a daily routine drinking coffee at various locations in Trail. He could be seen slowly making his way using his canes. A few years ago he graduated to a motorized scooter and was he happy!
He spent many summer months at the family cabin at Christina Lake where he loved to fish using the motorboat his grandmother had given him.
Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation ServicesTM has been entrusted with arrangements.
Independence was important to him, a man of few words, he will be remembered.
