It is with deep regret that the family announces the passing of Ray on January 12, 2011 at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. Ray was born in Trail in 1927 to William and Grace Briggeman.
He is survived by his wife Donna, children Janice (Brian), Alan (Tara) and David (Crystal), grandchildren Chris, Tegan, Kylee, Jesse and Kelsea, and his two brothers Ron (Bettylou) and Mel (Sandra), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ray loved the outdoors (in particular Deer Park and Christina Lake), parties with “The Gang” and time spent with family. His departure will leave a huge void in our lives and hearts, but we will fill this space with cherished memories and an undying love.
There will be an open house celebration of Ray’s life on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the Best Western Terra Nova in the “Encore Room” downstairs, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Bill Clark of Personal Alternative Funeral Services “Carberry’s Chapel” is entrusted with arrangements.
