It's with a heavy heart and deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Bruna Donisi on January 23rd, in Penticton, in the arms of her loving husband and surrounded by family. Bruna was born October 21, 1967 in Nelson, B.C. to (late) Rinaldo and Angela Donisi.
Bruna loved spending time with her family and friends and her little buddy Shelby. She loved to travel, special locations for her were Mexico, Italy and Las Vegas. Most summers she was found boating with her beloved husband Hef on beautiful Arrow Lake.
Bruna is survived by her loving partner, best friend of 33 years, and husband, Geoff Cahoon; brother, Dario and sister-in-law Joanne; niece Danielle and partner Stu (Mattias, Christian, Jacob, Lucas); nephew Nick and wife Kelsie (Nixon, Arlo); brother Marco and sister-in-law Nadine; nephew Brandon and Nathaniel.
I would also like to thank my amazing sister Tracy and Mark for the loving embrace and help in welcoming us into their home and helping me care for our beloved Bruna. A special gratitude to Lorelei, Colleen, Lorraine for the love they showed our Bruna.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 15th at 1 pm at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Nelson. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada, and an act of kindness to someone that was recently diagnosed with Cancer.
A special Thank you to all the wonderful and caring nurses and doctors throughout Bruna's journey. Especially, the staff at Moog & Friends Hospice.
