It is with great sadness that we said our final goodbyes to Cecile on April 10th / 20 after a brief illness.
Cecile came to Salmo BC in 1948 from Quebec. She married Schuyler Peters who predeceased her in 1977. She had many different jobs throughout her life - some of them being waitressing, working at a cedar shake mill, babysitting and was the Custodian for School District 8. She met Tom Webster, her soul mate in 1980 and together they built their dream home on their acreage.
She enjoyed motorcycle riding, and she and Tom travelled extensively through the US and parts of Mexico on their bike. She loved her home, loved to bake, loved her dogs and was meticulous about having everything neat in her home and around her property. Nothing made her smile more than seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a dynamic woman who would do anything for her family.
She also loved to help people. She will be dearly missed by all. She leaves behind her husband Tom, 4 children: Suzanne / Bruce; Bert; Robert; Sheila / Derek, 5 grandchildren,6 great grandchildren, 2 stepchildren and several step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by her stepson Russel Webster.
