Charlotte Ann Tambellini passed away peacefully, with her loving husband by her side, on November 25, 2016 at Columbia View Lodge. She was born in Mount William, Nova Scotia on September 19, 1938.

Charlotte was a registered nurse at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital for 45 years. She was especially proud of the last 10 years of her nursing career being the diabetes education nurse. Reading, yoga, and traveling were some of her favorite hobbies. Above all, Charlotte always put her family and her service to the community first.

She is survived by Ed, her husband of 54 years, children; Nadine and Mark (Tammy), grandson; Tyson, granddaughter; Candice, and numerous surviving siblings and their families in Nova Scotia.

Charlotte was predeceased by her parents William and Margaret, and her in-laws Annibale and Beppa.

There will be no service by Charlotte’s request. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Charlotte’s honour to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, www.jdrf.ca.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Dr. McCoid, and the staff of Columbia View Lodge for their loving and compassionate care of Charlotte, and their support for her family.
