In Loving Memory ~
Charlotte Anne Johnson (nee Ripplinger), born in Trail, BC on September 5th, 1948, passed away peacefully in Penticton on August 10th, 2024, with her loving family by her side.
A true fighter, Charlotte bravely battled and beat breast cancer in the early 2000s and later faced a diagnosis of mesothelioma. She lived and fought courageously to the end all the while comforting those around her that "it will be alright" and "it is what it is". Her generosity and kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Charlotte's true passion in life was helping others. She was employed as a Care Aide, dedicating her career to supporting elderly people and those in need within the communities which she lived. Her compassion and dedication to her work made a profound impact on the lives she touched.
Known to her beloved grandchildren as "Nana," Charlotte was a devoted grandmother to five grandchildren, Aidan, Kyra, Makenna, Anneka, and Ellis whom she loved "to the moon and back."
Charlotte is survived by her three children, Len (Julie) Robson, Lisa (Chad) Wallace, and Lance (Erin) Robson as well as her two sisters, Bev (Alex) Kaluzny and Patti (Bill) McDuffe.
Charlotte was predeceased by her brother Jim Ripplinger and her late husbands Don Holmes and Al Johnson.
Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever remember her as a caring and vibrant soul.
She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Moog & Friends Hospice will be appreciated.
