Colleen is also survived by her brother Stan (Kathy) Bowcock, and sister Betty (Rolf) Hoefer. Colleen was pre deceased by her loving husband of 52 years; Robert (Bob) Dixon, her parents Stan and Mildred Bowcock and her sisters; Lynn and Roberta. In Mom’s earlier years she was very involved in the local Scouting and Girl Guide movements including the organization and implementation of the “Warfield Beavers”. She worked many years as the personnel manager at Woolco, and gained many life long friends while employed there. She spent 50 years at Christina Lake with her family and friends. Colleen loved her family; they were her life. She had a smile that would light up the room and a heart as pure as gold. She was the light of our family and will be missed every minute of every day!
