WOSTRADOWSKI, Conrad – Passed away at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital, with his family by his side, on Sunday, February 16th, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Conrad was born on December 24, 1967 in Surrey, BC. He worked as an equipment operator for Teck for the last 2 years. Conrad grew up in Kelowna and moved to Trail 3 years ago.

Conrad’s greatest joy was his family and his nieces and nephews. His next greatest joy was his motorcycle club, The Kootenay Roadrunners. He also enjoyed playing baseball and slo-pitch and loved to watch hockey, especially watching the Beaver Valley Nighthawks.

Conrad is survived by his loving parents, Wilbur and Janice, his brother Brian Calvin (Val), his niece Christine, his nephew Jake, his brother Scott Calvin (Lisa), his niece Sierra, his nephew Dallas, his sister Tanya Ruhl (John), his nephew Ethan, his grandmother Anna Maria Wostradowski and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Plus his many wonderful friends from the Kootenay Roadrunners motorcycle club.

He is predeceased by his uncle Bill, his brother Roger, his Grampa Hank and his grandmother Muriel.

Special thanks to Dr. Hii, Dr. Jacobson and the Nursing Staff on the 2nd and 3rd floors at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital for their loving and compassionate care of Conrad.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 1st at 11:00 a.m. at the Trail Alliance Church with Pastor Shayne McIntyre and Reverend Ken Siemens officiating.

A celebration of Life to follow at the Local 480 Union Hall.
